Fed Govt to partner SecureID to grow Nigeria’s digital future

Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, assured the management of SecureID Limited of Federal Government’s collaboration to grow the country’s digital future.

He gave the pledge after completing the inspection of the Lagos plant of the company said to be the first certified smartcard manufacturing plant in sub-Saharan Africa. The visit marked a significant milestone in Nigeria's journey toward digital transformation and enhanced security measures in the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Sharing his impression, he said: "I am deeply impressed by the cutting-edge technology and dedication to excellence displayed by SecureID Limited. Dr. Tijani’s facility tour offered him first hand insight into the company's state-of-the-art equipment and adherence to international quality standards. The tour provided the minister with a glimpse into the extensive capabilities of SecureID Limited in producing high-quality, secure smartcards and digital solutions.

In addition to the plant tour, the minister had interactive sessions with the company's management and staff to discuss various aspects of smartcard manufacturing, digital security, and their potential impact on Nigeria's rapidly advancing digital landscape.
